This Privacy Policy explains how FarePuffin (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website and services. We are committed to handling your information responsibly.

Information we collect

When you use our flight search, we may collect and process:

• Search and usage data: Origin, destination, dates, number of travelers, cabin preference, and similar inputs you enter to run a search. We use this to perform the search and to improve our service (e.g. understanding popular routes).
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, and general usage data (e.g. pages visited). We may use this for security, analytics, and improving the site.
• Account data (if you sign up): If you create an account (e.g. for saved searches or alerts), we store the information you provide, such as email address and preferences.

We do not collect or store your payment card details. Payments are handled entirely by the booking partner you are redirected to when you click “Book.”

How we use your information

We use the information above to: provide and improve our search and comparison service; personalize results where applicable; detect and prevent abuse; and comply with legal obligations. We may use aggregated, non-personal data for analytics and product improvement.

Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

• Service providers: Partners that help us run the site (e.g. hosting, analytics, travel data APIs). They are required to use your information only to provide services to us and to protect it appropriately.
• Booking partners: When you click through to book, the booking site may receive information necessary to pre-fill the search (e.g. route, dates). Their use of that data is governed by their own privacy policy.
• Legal and safety: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies for essential operation and preferences, and, subject to applicable choices, analytics and advertising. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Some features may not work correctly if you disable certain cookies.

Google advertising and third-party vendors

We are preparing this website to display Google AdSense advertising. When Google ads are enabled, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's advertising cookies enable Google and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this and other sites on the Internet. Advertising requests may also involve IP addresses, device and browser information, page URLs, and other identifiers used to deliver, measure, and protect advertising from fraud.

Consent and advertising choices

Where required, we request consent through a Google-certified consent management platform before using advertising cookies or personal data for personalized ads. The message lets you consent, decline consent, or manage individual purposes and vendors. Its vendor list identifies the advertising partners and links to their privacy information. Declining consent does not prevent access to our editorial content or flight search.

Where the consent message is available, use Privacy and cookie settings at the bottom of a content page to reopen it and change or withdraw your choices. If a blocker prevents the message from loading, optional storage remains denied by our Google consent defaults. You can also delete existing cookies through your browser. Withdrawal changes future processing; it does not undo processing that took place before withdrawal.

Analytics and travel referrals

We use Google Analytics to understand site usage, subject to applicable consent choices. When consent is denied, Google Consent Mode may send limited, cookieless measurement signals; these can include technical request information such as an IP address. We also use Vercel for hosting, aggregate site analytics, and performance measurement. See Vercel's privacy policy. Flight searches and booking referrals use travel partners, including Travelpayouts, and the selected booking provider. Follow Travelpayouts' privacy policy and the selected seller's policy for details of their processing.

Our affiliate disclosure explains referral compensation. We do not receive your payment card details when you pay the booking provider.

Data retention and security

We retain your information only as long as needed to provide the service, comply with law, or resolve disputes. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing.
